OmahaAmberAlert.org How It Works
1)
Law enforcement is notified that a child has been abducted and verifies that the abduction meets Amber Alert
criteria
.
2)
Law enforcement issues an Amber Alert and provides the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) with the information to include in the alert.
3)
Law enforcement starts distributing the Amber Alert to local and state agencies.
4)
OmahaAmberAlert.org receives the Amber Alert and distributes the Amber Alert to it's e-mail and wireless subscribers, network affiliated websites, and affiliated communication partners.
5)
OmahaAmberAlert.org Amber Alert subscribers and affiliated communication partners begin forwarding the Amber Alert to their own business and social networks.
